Pad Thai Sauce / Dry Noodles / Peanuts

This includes our house recipe Pad Thai Sauce, noodles, and roasted/crushed peanuts, enough for about 6 portions.

You will need: lime and garlic, and your choice of protein or veggies or both.. finish it with some bean sprouts and green onions tossed in, and garnish with cilantro and lime, and you will have pad Thai just the way we make it at the Shack and in the Trucks..

Cooking instructions:

Take noodles out of bag, and soak in bowl of water (submerged), for at least an hour, can last several days in water in the fridge.

Heat a pan on medium heat with 1Tbl vegetable oil, 2 Tsp garlic, fry one egg, add protein and stir-fry. Add half of a small hand-full of noodles (strained from the water), and then add 2 oz of Pad Thai Sauce / portion and turn heat to high, add noodles to the pan to absorb sauce rather than trying to reduce the sauce. When all of the sauce is absorbed in the noodles, its done! Turn off the heat, Mix in a small handful of beansprouts, and one green onion stalk chopped in 1/2” pieces. Garnish with cilantro, lime and peanut, and you will have an official Elephant Shack Pad Thai.
